A four years PhD opportunity is available at Teagasc within the European project HoloRuminant: “The role of microbiomes in the health, welfare and productive performance of beef and dairy cattle”.
HoloRuminant project aims to elucidate the role of ruminant-associated microbiomes and their interplay with the host animal.
As part of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the French ministry of Agriculture and Food is organising the conference “Shaping the future of Livestock farming through research”.
The H2020 HoloRuminant project – Understanding microbiomes of the ruminant holobiont – officially started on October 1 for a duration of five years.
