- University College of Cork workshop was held on March 24, 2023. TEAGASC presented “The role of microbiomes in the health, welfare and productive performance of beef and dairy cattle”.
- SRUC Postgraduate Conference was held on March 21, 2023. SRUC presented “Exploring the Milk Microbiome and its Impact on Mastitis Susceptibility and Inflammatory Responses in Dairy Cattle”.
- Annual workshop for the CSIRO Future Science Program: Microbiomes for One System Health, was held on March 2nd, 2023, in Adelaide. NMBU attended the workshop.
- Dairy Research Centre & Digital Dairy Chain introductions event was held on February 2nd, 2023. SRUC presented “The HoloRuminant Project”.

- A joint meeting of the Australian Centre for Ecogenomics and Centre for Microbiome Research was held on December 2nd, 2023 in Brisbane, Australia. NMBU attended the meeting.
- The Australian Microbial Ecology Conference was held on November 7-9, 2023 in Melbourne, Australia. NMBU presented “Grazed and confused: the complex feeding habits of our gut microbes”.
- Nature Conference Biofilms and Microbiomes: Global Impact on Public and Ecosystem Health, was held virtually on October 11-13, 2023. NMBU attended the conference.
- Mole Valley Farmers visit to SRUC’s Crichton Royal Farm took place on October 10, 2022. SRUC presented “Rumen microbiome in cattle”.
- Applied Hologenomics Conference was held in Bilbao, Spain, on September 2022. EFFAB attended the conference.
- ISEP 2022 was held in Granada, Spain, on September 12-15, 2022. INRAE presented “Reducing enteric methane emissions improves energy metabolism in livestock: is the tenet right?”.
- AVTRW Conference (The Association of Veterinary Teaching and Research Work) was held in Ireland, on October 7, 2022. TEAGASC presented a poster titled: “An observational study to assess incidence of dairy calf diarrhea and subsequent recovery”.
- SRUC South and West Faculty Seminars were held on June 20, 2022. SRUC presented “HoloRuminant Overview”
- FASEB Microbial Glycobiology Conference was held on June 12-16, 2023, in Lisbon, Portugal. NMBU attended the conference.
